    Andrea Gaston to Coach West All-Star Team

    LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- USC women's golf associate head coach Andrea Gaston has been selected to coach in the "East-West Match," which will be played as part of the 1998 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships on May 19 (the second day of practice rounds) at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis.

    Gaston, along with Rise Lakowske of Oregon State, will coach the West squad, which consists of 10 players, including USC freshman Nicole Dalkas. The West team will challenge 10 players representing the East in a two-person best-ball contest.

    The NCAA Women's Golf Championships, a 72-hole tournament featuring the nation's top 19 teams, will be played on May 20-23 at University Ridge Golf Course. No. 9-ranked USC is one of nine Top 10 teams that have qualified for the national championships.
