USC sophomore Annie Park, the top-ranked collegiate player in the country and the 2013 WGCA and Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Year, was one of 10 amateurs invited to play at the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship, April 3-6, at Mission Hills C.C. in Rancho Mirage, Calif., the tournament announced today.

Park has followed her brilliant freshman season -when she helped lead USC to the NCAA team title in addition to her NCAA individual crown -- with a strong first half to her sophomore season. She has already broken the school season record for rounds in the 60s with nine (in 20 rounds) and leads the Trojans with a stroke average of 70.50, almost a full stroke better than the school-record she set last year.

She has five top 5 finishes this year, including her USC career-record-tying fifth win in February at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, where she won at 6-under 207 (67-67-73).

Most recently, she tied for second at 2-under 214 (77-68-69) last week during USC's win at the Bruin Wave Invitational, the Trojans sixth win in seven tournaments this season.

Park has LPGA major experience, having played as an amateur in the past two U.S. Women's Opens, though she has yet to make a cut.
