No. 1 USC Golf Rained Out Sunday|
Feb. 23, 2014
Little has stopped the No. 1 USC women's golf team of late, but Sunday morning rains in New Orleans did the trick as the first round of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate was cancelled on Sunday (Feb. 23).
Unplayable conditions will force the 17-team field to attempt to play 36 holes Monday beginning at 8 a.m. CST. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
USC, the defending NCAA champion, is currently riding a program-best eight-event winning streak, including victories in the first five tournaments this season.
