Trojans Tied For Fourth After 36 Holes Of ANNIKA Intercollegiate|

Senior Victoria Morgan followed her career-best 69 on Sunday with a 2-under 70 to lead the No. 2 USC women’s golf team tied for fourth after 36 holes of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate on Monday (Sept. 26) at the Reunion Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The Trojans, in their season-opening event, are a combined 12-under 564 (279-285). UCLA leads at 25-under 551 (279-272) while Arkansas is second at 23-under 553 (283-270). USC won the event last year at a school record 36-under.
Morgan (69-70) and senior Tiffany Chan (67-72) are tied for 12th at 5-under 139. Morgan had her first bogey of the tournament on 5 today but birdied 8 and 9 and, after a 90-minute weather delay, sank a seven-footer for her final birdie on 18 to finish at 2-under.
Chan, meanwhile, had two birdies against two bogeys today to finish at par. She and Morgan are six back of the lead, shared by UCLA’s Lilla Vu and Georgia’s Bailey Tardy.
Senior Gabriella Then is tied for 20th at 3-under 141 (70-71). She bogeyed 1 to start play and birdied 14 and 15 to finish under par for her round.
USC will begin final round play Tuesday (Sept. 27) at 8 a.m. ET with South Carolina and Florida.
