    Women's Golf Tied For 15th With One Round To Go At NCAA Championships

    Auburn, Wash. - The No. 15 USC women's golf team shot 298 on Thursday and is tied for 15th with one round to go at the 2002 NCAA Women's Golf Championships held on Washington National Golf Course.

    The Women of Troy have a three-round total of 899 (tied with Michigan and Oklahoma State), 25 strokes behind team leader Arizona (874). Texas is second (876), followed by Duke (877) and Auburn (883).

    Junior Mikaela Parmlid continues to lead USC after shooting a 75. She is in a five-way tie for 12th with a total of 218. Virada Nirapathpongporn of Duke is the individual leader at 207, followed by Summer Sirmons of Georgia (210) and Lorena Ochoa of Arizona (211).

    Also for USC, junior Becky Lucidi is tied for 27th (222), junior Yon Yim is tied for 77th (229) and sophomore Anna Rawson is tied for 82nd (230).

    The final round of the NCAA Championships tees off at 8 a.m. on Friday.
