Palos Verdes, Calif. - Senior Becky Lucidi and freshman Irene Cho each shot 75 on Tuesday as the USC women's golf team moved into second place with one round to go at the Northrop Grunman Regional Challenge held at Palos Verdes Golf Club.

USC shot 307 as a team--the second-best score of the day--and now have a two-round total of 603, just five strokes behind team leader Pepperdine (598). Arizona is third (606), Oklahoma State is fourth (607) and UCLA is fifth (608).

Cho and Lucidi are tied with two other golfers, just five strokes behind individual leader Katherine Hull of Pepperdine (144). Erica Blasberg of Arizona is tied for second with Charlotte Mayorkas of UCLA (both are at 145). Lindsey Wright of Pepperdine is fourth at 146.

Also for the Women of Troy, junior Rachel Bell--playing as an individual--is tied for 17th (153), as is All-American Mikaela Parmlid. Junior Anna Rawson is tied for 35th (157), while freshman Tanya Dergal is tied for 42nd (158).

The tournament concludes on Wednesday with an 11:30 a.m. shot gun start.
