THIS SEASON: Ellie Chai, a 2013 freshman, recently recovered from a long-time shoulder injury and is working her way back into form as she bolsters the Trojans depth this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Chai prepped at Campbell Hall in North Hollywood, Calif., where she had a blossoming career as a junior before being sidelined for more than a year by a shoulder injury ... Chai competed for Campbell Hall's boys' golf team, earning 2009 and 2012 CIF Boys All-League first team and 2010 second team honors. She competed in 2011 at the CIF Girls Golf Northern Individual Divisional event, taking first. She won the 2009 Rose Bowl Junior Championship as well as the 2009 Alondra Junior Championship, the 2009 Harry Pressler Memorial title and the 2009 Bridgestone Fall Series Championship. PERSONAL: She was born April 16, 1994. GET TO KNOW ME: Roger Federer, because during his matches he is so cool, calm, and collected. You never see an inch of emotion.
