THIS SEASON: Senior Rachel Bell got off to a good start this past fall, notching two top-20 finishes. Her experience and leadership should pay off for the Women of Troy in the spring.

2002-2003: In her first season at USC, Bell was sixth on the squad with a stroke average of 77.87 ... Best finish was at the rain-shortened TRW Regional Challenge, where she tied for 17th (as an individual) after 36 holes with a score of 153 ... Lowest 54-hole score was 228, which she shot at both the NCAA Fall Preview and the Auburn Tiger Invitational ... Shot a season-low 71 in the first round of the Auburn Tiger Invitational.

FLORIDA SOUTHERN: Bell was a Division II All-American at Florida Southern in 2000 and 2001 ... She was the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year in 2001 ... The Mocassins won the D-II NCAA title in 2000 and 2001 ... Bell finished fourth at the NCAA D-II Championships in 2002 and second in 2001.
