    USC Finishes Eighth at Ping/ASU Invitational

    TEMPE, Ariz. - The University of Southern California finished eighth at the Ping/ASU Invitational, which wrapped up today at the Karsten Golf Course. The University of Arizona won the event with a team total of 16-over-par 880. The Trojans finished with a score of 62-over-par 926.

    Arizona's Marisa Baena captured the individual title with a 5-under-par 211. Linda Ishii, who finished in a four-way tie for 23rd place, led the Trojans with a 13-over-par 229. Teammate Johanna Josefsson finished two shots back in a six-way tie for 27th place.

    Other USC finishers included: Danielle Lavoie and Ida Danielsson, who both tied for 45th with 19-over-par 235s; Leanne Wong, who tied for 73rd with a 30-over-par 246; and Allison Czetli, who tied for 78th with a 32-over-par 248.
