    Trojans Take 14th at Bruin Classic

    LOS ANGELES - The University of Southern California women's golf team finished in 14th place at the Pioneer Electronic Bruin Classic at Menefee Lakes Country Club Sunday on the first day of competition.

    Johanna Josefsson led all USC golfers with a score of 159 using the Rolex Collegiate golf Tour Scoring System. Josefsson was tied for 16th with three other competitors.

    Nilna Laitinen from Tulsa finished in first place with a score of 152 and also led the Golden Hurricane to a first-place finish in the team competition with 627 points.

    The Trojans finished with 668 points.

    Ida Danielsson was the Trojans next-highest finisher. She came in tied for 38th place 20-over-par.
