Women's Rowing 11th at Head of the Charles Race

USC has an impressive finish against strong competition.

BOSTON - The USC women's rowing team had a good showing at the Head of the Charles meet in Boston, placing 11th out of 59 teams over the weekend in the women's championship eight race.

USC's team of Lisa Bartoli, Ivelina Boteva, Robecca Moneymaker, Amelia White, Annelisa Gross, Tasha Reilly, Amber Buhl, Kasey Ryan and Rook Campbell had a time of 16:49.47.

USC was racing against the national teams from Denmark, Canada and the United States as well as many of the nation's top collegiate programs.

The Women of Troy were the highest-placing team from the West Coast, beating out Sacramento State (35th) and Stanford (36th).
