Walnut Creek, Calif. - Four student-athletes on the USC women's rowing team were named to the Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic Team for their achievements in the classroom, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced Thursday, June 20. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant substitute.

Three Women of Troy were named to the first team; senior port Ivelina Boteva (3.14, psychology), junior starboard Marketa Vochoskova (3.38, German language) and sophomore coxswain Melissa Zimel (3.59, kinesiology). In addition, junior starboard Zoë Hoskins (3.01 journalism) garnered honorable mention accolades.
