* The top three finishers in each heat advance to the Grand Final, while the 4-6 finishers advance to the Petite Final to determine places 7-12. Final races will be held Saturday, May 26.

** The Trojans are the first to defeat Brown and Michigan this season. At the Buckeye Invitational held on April 14, USC finished second to the Wolverines. Brown is the Varsity Eight defending national champion.

*** This is the first time USC has ever advanced to the Varsity Eight Grand Final to contend for a NCAA Championship. In 1998, the Trojans' Varsity Four boat captured the national title.
