Maria Tovar enters her fourth season in the USC program and third season on the varsity squad... Rowed with the novice in 2000.
Personal Highlights:
Tovar is a 1999 graduate of James A. Garfield High in Los Angeles... Did not row in high school... Was a two-year letterwinner with the varsity softball and swim teams... Also played basketball as a prep... Graduated in the top five percent of her class... A psychology/sociology major at USC who hopes to pursue a career as an FBI special agent.
