At USC:
Sarah Pomeroy enters her first season in the USC program after transferring from William Smith College... Rowed at William Smith in 2002 under current USC head coach Kelly Babraj... Rowed with the Varsity Eight, which finished second at the 2002 Division III NCAA Championships... As a team, William Smith finished third... Named a 2002 CRCA Division III second team All-American.
Personal Highlights:
Pomeroy is a 2001 graduate of Simsbury (Conn.) High... Rowed varsity for three years... Crew finished third at 2000 and 2001 New England Interscholastic Championships and won the state public school championship in 2001... Also lettered in swimming for four years... Swim team captured state championship in 2001... An economics major who would like to attend graduate school.
