Zoë Hoskins begins her third season with the Trojans... 2002 team co-captain... Rowed with the varsity eight in 2001 in the No. 5 seat... 2001 V8 squad won the Jessop Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic and finished fourth at the NCAA Championships... Rowed with the varsity and JV eight in 2000 in the No. 4 seat... Captured first place in the novice division of the 2000 Trojan Erg Sprints (Feb. 12, 2000) with a time of 6:55.9... At the 2000 C.R.A.S.H.-B World Indoor Rowing Championships, she finished 16th in the women’s open division in 7:02.10 and ninth among collegiate women.

Personal Highlights:
Hoskins is a 1999 graduate of Ross Sheppard High in Edmonton, Canada... A member of the Calgary Rowing Club and Junior National Team... Won the 1999 Provincial Championship in eights, fours and singles... The Western Canada Games singles champion... Also competed at the Canadian Henely (1999), Canadian Nationals and Regatta of the Americas... With the national team, she earned a gold medal in doubles and quad races at the 1998 Can-Am-Mex Regatta... Lists Silken Laumen, an Olympic silver medalist, as the toughest athlete she ever has competed against... Her brother, Andrew, rows for the men’s Canadian national team... Hopes to row for the Canadian national team in the 2004 Olympics... She is a print journalism major who would like to write for a magazine.
