At USC:
Kate Donovan enters her second season in the USC program and her first on the varsity squad... Rowed with the JV boat at the 2002 Pac-10 Championships... Also rowed with the novice in 2002.
Personal Highlights:
Donovan is a 2001 graduate of Manchester (N.H.) High... Did not row in high school... A three-year varsity letterwinner in track & field and a two-year letterwinner in basketball... Finished fourth in the triple jump at the New Hampshire state championships in 2001 and won the Manchester city championship in 2000 and 2001... Also competed at the New England track & field championships in 2001 and placed second in the triple jump... Led her team to the state championship and a No. 5 national ranking as a sophomore... An honor roll student... A sociology major.
