Personal Highlights:
De Lapoyade is a 1998 graduate of Lycee Maine de Biran in Bergerac, France... Named the high school’s Athlete of the Year in 1998... Rowed with Sport Nautique de Bergerac for seven years... The team won the France championship in 1996 and 1998, and finished third in 1997 and 1999... A member of the French rowing team for three years... Competed at the Junior World Championships in Belgium and Austria (1997, 1998), and the Nations Cup in Germany (1999)... Hopes to one day compete at the Senior World Championships... Would also like to visit Australia and Egypt in the future... De Lapoyade is a political science and international relations major.
