Genidounias and Adams Named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week|

LOS ANGELES- USC men's water polo driver Kostas Genidounias and women's basketball guard Jordan Adams were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 17-23, on Monday Nov. 24.
USC CREDIT UNION MEN'S STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Despite the Trojans finishing fourth at the MPSF Tournament, they received an at-large bid as the No. 3 seed at the NCAA Tournament. Genidounias and the USC Trojans will look to capture a seventh straight national title at the NCAA Tournament, starting with a match against No. 6 seed Whittier on Saturday, Nov. 29 at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Also nominated for men's student-athlete of the week honors: Jordan McLaughlin (basketball)
USC CREDIT UNION WOMEN'S STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
The redshirt sophomore also excelled against Davidson, where she drained 12 points as the Trojans routed the host Wildcats 99-64. In the Trojans' home opener on Sunday, Adams was back at it again with 10 points in a 68-50 win over Fresno State. The Trojans look to continue their hot streak when they face off against Sam Houston State at the SMU Tournament on Friday, Nov. 28.
Also nominated for women's student-athlete of the week honors: Courtney Jaco (basketball).
The USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week are voted on by the student assistants and Sports Information Directors of the USC Sports Information Office. Nominations are compiled and distributed for voting by Alec Koondel. Student assistant voters include Charlotte Adlam, Taiu Kunimoto, Nikki Borchard, Andrew McKagan, Eike Daube, Tera Novy, Carlene Jones, Max Schwartz, Gaby Smotrys, Aubrey Kragen and intern Katie Ryan.
