    Women's Basketball Begins Exhibition Play This Week
    Trojans play Wednesday and Saturday before starting 2002 season on the road.

    LOS ANGELES - USC women's basketball opens exhibition play this week against Love & Basketball and Team Concept on Wednesday (Nov. 7) and Saturday (Nov. 10). Wednesday's game will be played in the North Gym, while Saturday's game will be played in the Lyon Center. Both games are schedule to begin at 7 p.m.

    The Women of Troy, featuring All-Pac-10 candidate Ebony Hoffman and the No. 6 ranked recruiting class of 2001, open the regular season at St. Joseph on Nov. 16 and open their home schedule on Nov. 21 against Morgan State at the Sports Arena at 6 p.m.

    (USC was orginally scheduled to face Slavjanka on Nov. 10 but the Russian team was unable to make the trip to the United States. Team Concept, an AAU team from Portland, Ore., was selected to replace them.)
