Athlete to Athlete|
Sept. 9, 2015
Trojan student-athletes had front-row seats to the 2015 Special Olympics World Games, as the city of Los Angeles played host to the 6,500 athletes and 2,000 coaches who participated.
Rather than sit back and watch what will go down as the largest sports and humanitarian event of the year, according to the organization's website, USC athletes played an active role in the planning, execution and promotion of the World Games.
One way Trojan student-athletes supported the World Games was by interviewing World Games participants after their events throughout the week. Some participants could have relished their moments of glory for hours. Others were a little quicker to the point in their interviews. But everyone appreciated the effort the Trojan athletes displayed to ensure an unforgettable week.
