The USC women's basketball team has two players standing out with academic honors this season. Senior point guard Camille LeNoir is joined by sophomore center Kari LaPlante on the Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention list for the two Trojans' first academic accolades from the conference. It is the fifth straight year that USC has players earning All-Academic awards from the Pac-10, as both hold cumulative GPAs above a 3.0.

In her first season eligible for the Pac-10 academic selection, LaPlante started 15 games and appeared in all 32 for the Trojans. She has not yet declared a major. LeNoir's All-Academic honorable mention follows up her selection to the All-Pac-10 Second Team two weeks ago and a Pac-10 All-Tournament Team pick last week. A senior who started 30 of 32 games this season, LeNoir is set to graduate with a major in sociology and a minor in business entrepreneurship.
