USC's fearless leader this season is All-Pac-12 Team honoree Cassie Harberts.

    March 5, 2013

USC junior forward Cassie Harberts has played her way to a rightful place on the 2013 All-Pac-12 Team for the first time in her Trojan career. USC's top scorer, rebounder and blocks leader, Harberts has been the driving force for the Women of Troy throughout the season. USC also has two guards on the Pac-12 honor roll as well. Sophomore Ariya Crook has earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention, while freshman Brianna Barrett has a spot on both the All-Freshman and All-Defensive Honorable Mention lists.

2013 All-Pac-12 Team member Cassie Harberts -- who earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention last season as a sophomore and was a member of the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team in her first season at Troy -- has continued to elevate her game for the Trojans. She has scored double digits in all but one game this season, and on Jan. 13 the junior broke the 1,000-point barrier, becoming the 24th Trojan all-time to hit that mark. With 1,253 career points to date she has taken over at No. 16 all time at USC. Ranked No. 45 in the nation in scoring, she is hands-down USC's top scorer (17.9 pg) and also is the leader on the boards (8.1 rpg). Harberts also has spent the most time of all Trojans at the free-throw line, accounting for near half USC's free throw attempts and makes, with a 187-of-268 (.698) tally to date to push her to No. 5 all-time in career free throws made (407). Harberts also leads the nation in free throws attempted this season with 268. That count ranks her third all-time at USC in that single-season category, and her 187 makes also has her at No. 3 all-time at USC and No. 3 in the nation overall.

Harberts opened this season with three consecutive double-doubles and has since added seven more to hold 16 career double-doubles, going along with career highs of 31 points set as a freshman vs. WSU along with 18 rebounds also as a freshman vs. Oregon. She has started every game of her career since setting foot at Troy and pumped in a season-high 27 points in USC's win at OSU to help net her first career selection as Pac-12 Player of the Week on Jan. 7. She currently ranks in the top-10 in the conference stat sheets for scoring, rebounding and blocks. Harberts also was honored on the Pac-12 Media All-Pac-12 Team.

Awarded with 2013 All-Pac-12 Team Honorable Mention, sophomore Ariya Crook was a 2012 Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention recipient last season and has since come up even bigger for the Trojans in her sophomore campaign. Coming off the bench for much of the season, Crook has provided 13.4 points per game along with 3.0 assists per game. With 54 threes nailed to date, Crook ranks No. 8 all-time in single-season 3-pointers made. She has scored double figures in 20 games this season as she and the Women of Troy now turn to action at the 2013 Pac-12 Tournament in Seattle this week. Currently 12th in the conference in scoring, Crook is also sixth in 3-pointers made and 10th in assists.

In her first season with the Trojans, freshman Brianna Barrett has stepped in with a valuable role in helping lead the USC offense and defense. She's deservedly on the list for All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention, standing tall as USC's steals leader with 49 picks to also rank 12th in the conference. On the offensive end, Barrett also leads the Trojans in assists with 3.2 per game to rank eighth in the Pac-12. She's started 19 games for USC to further help lock Barrett in with All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention.
