LOS ANGELES - Freshman Camille LeNoir led with 18 points as the USC women's basketball team defeated the Play Mode All-Stars, 91-74, in its second exhibition game of the 2004-05 season. The Women of Troy had four players finish in double figures in this final preseason game played on Sunday at the Lyon Center.

USC outscored Play Mode 22-to-7 in the final five minutes of the match-up to seal the 17-point victory.

After entering halftime with a 46-35 advantage, the Women of Troy allowed Play Mode to climb back to within one at 52-51. The visiting team's 16-6 run after the break was fueled by former Trojans Nicky McCrimmon (1993-94) and Rometra Craig (2003-04) who added four and seven points, respectively.

That was as close as Play Mode would get, as USC quickly pulled away on consecutive layups by junior Meghan Gnekow and sophomore Allison Jaskowiak.

LeNoir collected 18 points thanks in part to a 3-of-3 effort from three-point range. The Women of Troy shot 50.7 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from beyond the arch. Other top scorers included Rachel Woodward (13), Gnekow (12) and Jaskowiak (10).

Gnekow and Kim Gipson led with six rebounds apiece and Jamie Hagiya contributed a game-best six assists.

Craig led the Play Mode All-Stars with 34 points and McCrimmon added 17.

The Women of Troy open the regular season this week at the DePaul Moran Realty Classic in Chicago, Ill., Nov. 19 and 20.
