    THIS SEASON
    A recent addition to the USC backcourt, Daniela Roark brings some extra experience to the point guard slot for the Trojans in her second season of competition at Troy.

    2008-09 JUNIOR SEASON
    Roark appeared in 10 games as a junior at USC... First career points came with a 3-pointer against Harvard on Dec. 20... Hit another three and finished with five points at Oregon... Also had two steals and three rebounds in the season.

    2007-08 SEASON
    Roark sat out her first season at USC per NCAA transfer rules.

    AT FORDHAM UNIVERSITY
    Roark played two seasons at Fordham University... Named Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Week in 2005... Ranks third in Fordham history with 3-point percentage (.376) and eighth all-time with 104 threes made... Earned numerous academic honors and was active as a Spanish tutor.

    HIGH SCHOOL
    Roark played basketball and volleyball at Pinewood High in Los Altos, Calif... Averaged 15 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds per game in her career at Pinewood... Won 2005 state championship in Division 5... Was named the CalHi Sports Division 5 Player of the Year as a senior in 2005... A First Team selection in 2005 by the San Jose Mercury News...     Daniela Nakamura Roark was born on Aug. 21, 1987, in Redwood City, Calif.... The daughter of Joe and Linda, she has one brother, Martin... Her brother and uncle Jim also attended USC... Says Steve Nash is her biggest sports hero... Enjoys tennis, music, going to the beach and playing any other sports in her free time... Would like to travel after graduation... Is majoring in kinesiology and would like to pursue a career in physical therapy.
