    Allison Jaskowiak Kennedy returns for a fifth season of eligibility, providing a core of reliable defense and dedication for her final year with the Women of Troy.

    2006-07 SEASON
    Jaskowiak started 21 games, including the past 11, appearing in 27 this season... Was sidelined for the first three games to heal from knee surgery following the 2005-06 season... Averaged 3.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 24.8 minutes per game... Hit two 3-pointers in three games this year: at Cal, against Washington State and at Washington... Set new career highs with five steals at Oregon State and five assists against UCLA... Scored in 21 games this year, hitting double figures twice.

    2005-06 JUNIOR SEASON
    Jaskowiak moved into a starting role during her junior season, starting 23 out of 30 games... Averaged 26.2 minutes per game, and doubled her career high scoring to 12 points at Hawaii on Nov. 19... Scored in 19 games and more than doubled her previous career total rebounds and 3-pointers with 121 boards and 12 threes... Had a career-high 10 rebounds against Washington on Feb. 9... Hit a pair of crucial late-game free throws and scored 11 points against UCLA on Feb. 18.

    Jaskowiak hit the court for 29 of USC's 31 games last season, averaging 7.7 minutes per game... Relied upon for defensive strength, she also topped out with a six-point scoring performance on against Oregon State on Jan. 4, when she went 2-for-3 from three-point range... Also added a basket and a career-high five rebounds in USC's NCAA Tournament victory over Louisville.

    Jaskowiak made three appearances as a freshman, playing against San Diego (Dec. 13), Washington State (Feb. 5) and California (Feb. 21)... Averaged two minutes per game.

    Jaskowiak is a 2003 graduate of Parkway West High in Ballwin, Mo. ... A four-year letterwinner in both basketball and volleyball... Also lettered in track & field as a senior... Captain of varsity basketball team in 2003... Helped lead team to second-place finish at 2003 MSHSAA 4A State Championship and three Suburban West Conference Championships... Collected 1,255 points, 661 rebounds, 281 assists and 256 steals in her prep career... Named one of the `Top 10 Players To Watch' by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a senior and named St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro honorable mention... Selected as one of the WBCA's Top 100 Senior Basketball Players... One of 10 players selected to the 2003 Missouri/Illinois Keep Hoops Alive All-Star game... Earned first team all-conference honors as a junior and senior, and second team accolades as a freshman and sophomore... A first team MSHSAA Class 5 All-District 5 pick in 2002 and 2003 and second team selection in 2001... Named the 2002 Suburban West Conference Player of the Year and MVP of the 2003 Missouri Class 4-5 All-Star Game... Awarded the `Freshman Phenom' award by the Keep Hoops Alive sports journal in 2000... Also an all-state selection in both volleyball (2001, 2002) and track & field (2003)... Played AAU basketball for four years with the St. Louis Crusaders and select team basketball with Chicago Hoops Express (along with current teammate Chloé Kerr)... Team finished as high as ninth place in 2002... Elected Student Body President as a senior and served as class president as a freshman, sophomore and junior... A two-year member of the National Honor Society, her many academic accolades also include Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), Beta Chi Pi (Science Honor Society), 2003 Founder's Award, 2003 Army Scholar-Athlete, 2002 and 2003 `Outstanding School Leader', 2001 `Young Achiever Award', Who's Who Among America's High School Students and Best of West Scholar-Athlete.

    Allison Leanne Jaskowiak was born on July 12, 1984, in St. Louis, Mo.... Recently married former USC baseball player Ian Kennedy, who signed with the New York Yankees in 2006... The daughter of Dennis and Cynthia Jaskowiak, she has one brother, Derek (24), and one sister, Emily (22)... She comes from a long line of athletes... Her sister, Emily, was a forward at Tulsa and graduated in 2006... Her brother, Derek, played football at Navy (2001-2003) and played in the 2003 Hula Bowl All-Star Game... Her father, Dennis, played football at Missouri (1973)... Her grandfather, Charles Share, was a 10-year NBA player and captain of the 1958 St. Louis Hawks World Champions (the only NBA title in franchise history)... A 6-foot-11 center, Charles played collegiate basketball at Bowling Green (1950)... Lists the "Trojan Family" atmosphere and the opportunities available in Los Angeles as her favorite aspects of USC... Completed her bachelor's in English literature and language major and is now working on a masters of education in postsecondary administration and student affairs.
