2003-04 Senior Season at USC
Hicks played in all 28 games and made 26 starts... As the team's starting point guard, but sharing court time with teammate Jamie Hagiya, Hicks averaged 2.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.5 steals per game... Also averaged a 46.4 shooting percentage from the floor, a 36.4 average from three-point range and a 60.7 mark from the free throw line... Honored as the team's `Top Defensive Player' at the end of the season... Accounted for a season-high four assists at New Mexico (Nov. 21), against Arizona State (Feb. 12) and at UCLA (Feb. 29... She also accounted for a career-high five rebounds at New Mexico... Had one of her best shooting performances against Colorado on Dec. 20 when she went 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-2 from three-point range for a career-best 1.000 field goal percentage (her two three-pointers and 1.000 three-point shooting percentage are also a career-high)... Tied her career high with nine points against California on Jan. 23... Tallied a career-high four free throws made and 1.000 (4-4) free throw percentage at Washington State on Feb. 5.
2002-03 Junior Season at USC
Hicks began the season as the starting point guard for eight games, replaced Jessica Cheeks off the bench midseason then resumed her starting role for seven of the final eight games... Played in all 31 games with 15 total starts... Averaged 2.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game... Had a season-best performance in the opener against Northern Arizona (Nov. 15) when she tallied nine points... Collected a season-high four rebounds, three times... Against Notre Dame on Nov. 29, she finished with a personal-best eight assists... Posted a career-high six steals against Washington State in the first game of the Pac-10 Tournament (March 7).

Hicks played two years at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa, under head coach Jeff Tadtman... At point guard, she averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 3.0 steals as a sophomore... Also shot 80.0 percent from the line, 58.0 percent from the floor and 38.0 percent from three-point range last season... Scored a collegiate career-high 22 points against Penn Valley on Jan. 5, 2002... She recorded three career triple-doubles in her two seasons at IWCC... Helped lead the Reivers to the 2002 District Championship, a 30-5 overall record and a fifth-place finish at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Tournament... The team's regular season record marked a best-ever for IWCC women's basketball and their national finish is a best-ever for IWCC athletics.
Hicks is a 2000 graduate of Lincoln (Neb.) High... A four-year basketball letterwinner, she helped lead the team to a city championship, Heartland Conference championship and a third-place finish at the Nebraska state championships as a senior... A three-year all-conference selection (1998, 99, 00) and two-year all-city second team pick (1998, 99)... In 2000 she was named to the all-city first team and All-Nebraska second team... Served as a team captain in 2000... Selected to play in the Nebraska/South Dakota All-Star game in her final season... Averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior...
