    Jamie Hagiya enters her senior season as one of the Trojans' top distributors who ranks No. 10 all-time with 284 career assists, and also boasts offensive control and defensive tenacity.

    2005-06 JUNIOR SEASON
    Hagiya split time at point guard with Camille LeNoir in her third season at USC... Posted top assist/turnover ratio in the Pac-10 with a 1.77 on 110 assists and 62 turnovers... Second on the team in assists with 3.55 per game (fifth in the Pac-10) and third in steals with 1.5 per game. Now ranks No. 9 all-time in career 3-pointers with 80 threes and No. 10 all-time in career assists with 284... Scored a career-high 16 points twice, first against Cal State Northridge on Dec. 9 and again at WSU on Jan. 12... Also had a career-high seven steals and season-high eight assists vs. CSUN... Had a career-high eight rebounds vs. Washington on Feb. 9... Received Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... A Marks Scholar.

    Hagiya scored in double figures five times in her second season at USC, finishing with 5.1 points per game... She started 16 of 31 games and averaged 1.4 steals and 1.8 rebounds per game... Assists mark of 3.3 apg led the team and ranked No. 6 in the Pac-10... Assist/turnover ratio of 1.74 was third best in the Pac-10... Named to DePaul Moran Realty Classic All-Tournament Team after 14 points and two new career highs (six steals, 6-for-6 free-throw performance) in the championship game against DePaul on Nov. 20... Also went 2-for-2 on three-pointers against Oregon on Jan. 2 and hit career-high marks for rebounds (5) vs. Arizona State on Feb. 2 and for assists (12) against California on Feb. 20... Logged the most minutes of her career against TCU on Dec. 21, when she gave the Women of Troy their first, last and only lead of the game on a jumper with only seconds remaining in a 71-70 road win... Received Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... A Marks Scholar.

    Hagiya took on the role as part-time point guard in her first season at USC... Played in all 28 games and made two starts... Led the team with 2.6 assists per game, in addition to averaging 5.8 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per outing... Shot 41.9 percent (54-129) from the field, 35.8 percent (24-67) from three-point range and 77.5 percent (31-40) at the line... Honored as the team's `Assist Leader'... Also named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman honorable mention team... Made her first collegiate start against Southern Methodist (SMU) on Dec. 17 and logged a season-high 28 minutes... Collected a season-high six assists against Washington State on Jan. 11... In her second start at Arizona State on Jan. 17, she hit a season-best 8-of-10 shots (80.0 percent) at the line... Had her best outing of the year against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 26) when she accounted for 15 points thanks to a 5-of-6 effort (.833) from three-point range -- a mark that ties for third place among USC's single-game records... On Feb. 5 at Washington State, she hit 3-of-4 three-pointers to tie for seventh place among USC's single-game records.

    Hagiya is a 2003 graduate of South Torrance High in Torrance, Calif. ... Lettered four years in basketball... She led her teams to three consecutive Ocean League titles as a sophomore, junior and senior... As a senior, she was named to the All-CIF Division II-A first team after leading all Southern California preps with an 87.7 free throw percentage... Finished second in Southern California with a 63.5 three-point field goal percentage... Averaged 22.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 6.5 steals in 2003... Collected more than 1,000 points in her prep career... As a junior she received All-CIF second team honors... A three-time Ocean League MVP (2001, 2002, 2003)... Twice named to the South Bay Daily Breeze all-area first team (2003, 2002) and honored to the all-area second team in 2001... Three-time South Bay Daily Breeze Athlete of the Week... Also received Los Angeles Times South Bay/Westside all-region first team accolades in 2003... Played club basketball with the North Stars (1997), South Bay (1998-99), So Cal (2000-01) and NJB Stars (2002)... A four-year honor roll student... Elected Associated Student Body President as a senior... Awarded the South High Spartan Laurel Award in Leadership as a junior and senior.

    Jamie Joyce Hagiya was born on April 16, 1985, in Berkeley, Calif. ... The daughter of Grant and Jan Hagiya, she has one sister, Lexie (23), and one brother, Trent (17)... Her uncle, Rob Aochi, is a USC alumnus... Her cousin, Dana Nakaya, was a four-year swimming letterwinner at Syracuse (1995-98)... Three things she has always wanted to do are ice skate at New York's Rockefeller Center while it's snowing, go horseback riding on the beach and audition for `American Idol'... A communications major.
