    USC Opens Regular Season With 71-60 Victory Over San Diego

    SAN DIEGO, CA -- The USC women's basketball team started the regular season with a 71-60 win over the University of San Diego Sunday night. The Women of Troy start the year 1-0 while USD fell to 2-2.

    USC was led by senior forward Tina Thompson's 25 points and 11 rebounds and sophomore guard Kristin Clark's 12 points. San Diego was led by Olivia DiCamilli's 16 points.

    USC will return to action Fri.-Sat., Dec. 6-7 when they travel to Louisiana to participate in the Louisiana Tech Tournament. The Trojans will play Western Illinois on Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. and the winner of Louisiana Tech/San Diego on Dec. 7.
