LOS ANGELES - The USC men's water polo team, which captured the first NCAA championship in the program's history earlier this month, will be honored this Friday (Dec. 18) at Heritage Hall at 12:15 p.m.
USC President Steven Sample will be in attendance, as will the Trojan Marching Band and Trojan Dance Force.
Led by co-head coaches John Williams and Jovan Vavic, the Trojans capped off a 25-3 season with a 9-8 overtime victory against Stanford in the national championship game on Dec. 6. USC had finished second nationally six times previously before winning its first title.
