USC (27-4) advances to the Honolulu Regional next weekend and will play No. 10-seed Hawai'i in the third round on Friday (December 9). The match features two of the top three teams in the nation according to the latest AVCA poll (No. 1 USC and No. 3 Hawai'i).

Joel Dennerley and Peter Kurzeka: Men's Water Polo: With a commanding 7-4 win over UCLA Sunday, top-seeded USC finished off its fourth consecutive national championship, anchored by two Trojans who will now be proud owners of four national championship rings - seniors Joel Dennerley and Peter Kurzeka. Dennerley hauled in 15 saves and landed himself the NCAA Tournament MVP selection. Kurzeka scored four goals in Friday's semi-final against Princeton and added another in the title game. Both seniors earned All-Tournament First Team honors. Led by head coach Jovan Vavic, the Trojans became the first team in history to win four straight NCAA water polo titles.
