Another Talented Addition To USC's 2013 Signing Class|
Feb. 21, 2013
The five-peat NCAA championship USC men's water polo team has its pool of 2013 incoming talent growing deeper by the minute. The newest addition to the Trojans' list of signees is Nick Bell, who joins USC head coach Jovan Vavic's group of three other newcomers to sign national letters of intent.
"Nick is a great addition for us," Vavic said of the Los Osos product. "He's a player of the year, he's fast and he's a great shooter."
Bell was named the Inland Empire Player of the Year as a senior at Los Osos High School, which has made it to three CIF finals in the past five years. Bell helped lift Los Osos to the CIF-SS Division 4 championship. He also set the school record with 131 goals in his junior season and added 124 this past year as a senior to go along with 47 assists, 78 steals and a school-record 74 ejections drawn.
Bell joins a highly acclaimed group of fellow new Trojans: Jon Walters, Shaun Robinson and Andrew Silvers, who signed letters of intent earlier this month.
