While pushing toward a historic fourth straight national championship, three members of the 2011 USC men's water polo team were also securing academic honors with their solid GPAs. Senior goalie Joel Dennerley graduates from USC as a four-time NCAA champ and a two-time MPSF All-Academic Scholar Athlete. He's joined this year by first-time honorees Ivan Kustic and Jack Plaga.

All three Trojans have maintained over a 3.0 cumulative GPA at USC. Dennerley has wrapped up his USC playing career and his degree in human performance. Both Kustic and Plaga are redshirt freshmen and have not yet declared majors.
