#3 USC Defeats # 7 Pacific in MPSF Finale

Stockton, Calif.- Southern California scored the first four goals of the match and never looked back as the #3 Trojans defeated Pacific, 10-5, Saturday afternoon at the Chris Kjeidsen Pool in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation finale for both teams.

After the Trojans sprinted to a 4-0 lead with 6:13 left in the second half, increasing their lead to 7-2 with 3:48 remaining in the third quarter. Andrew Tri, Ryan Bazeley, and Roman Yegiyants scored second half goals for the Tigers, but Pacific was unable to overcome the Trojans' earley first and second half scoring flurries.
