THIS SEASON: Vonderweidt enters his first season at USC.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Vonderwiedt was a member of the U.S. Youth National Team, recently competing at a tournament in Italy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Vonderweidt is a three-time all-CIF first team pick out of Santa Monica High (Calif.)... Named league MVP as a senior... Played club for Los Angeles WPC.
PERSONAL: Vonderweidt has not decided on a major... Parents are Laurent Vonderweidt and Laura Busch... Has one sister, Abby Vonderweidt, who played soccer at Cornell... His grandfather William Busch and uncle Ned Busch also attended USC... Enjoys playing soccer in his free time... Lists Wayne Rooney as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to skydive...
