2012: Vavic set a USC record with 83 goals scored as a junior, tying for first in the MPSF in 2012... Moved up to rank No. 4 all-time in scoring with 173 career goals... Named the National Player of the Year and a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist... A First Team All-American and All-MPSF First Team honoree... Named to NCAA All-Tournament First Team and MPSF All-Tournament Team... Selected NCAA.com Player to Watch... Twice named MPSF Player of the Week... Also led team in assists (65) and steals (43)... Fourth on team in ejections drawn (23)... Scored in every game with 23 multiple-goal outings... Set USC record with nine goals scored in a single game on Nov. 10.
2011: Vavic was USC's second leading scorer with 41 goals as a sophomore... Scored in all but four games on the year... Named to All-America Second Team and All-MPSF First Team... Also selected to NCAA All-Tournament Team... Scored in 23 games with nine multiple-goal efforts... Set career high with five goals vs. Chapman on Nov. 5... Scored five goals at the NCAA Tournament with four in the semifinal and one in the championship game.
2010: Vavic was USC's top scorer as a freshman with 49 goals, having scored in all but three games on the year... Had a hat trick in the NCAA Championship game, tying his career high and marking his 16th multiple-goal game of the season... Named to the NCAA All-Tournament First Team... Had the winning goal in sudden death in the MPSF Championship game, earning a spot on the MPSF All-Tournament Team... Also picked up Third Team All-American honors and earned All-MPSF Honorable Mention.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Vavic is a member of the U.S. National Team, having competed at the UANA World Aquatic Championship Qualification Tournament... As a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, was the team's third leading scorer at the 2009 FINA Men's Junior World Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Vavic earned first team all-CIF honors as a senior out of Loyola High in Los Angeles... Was named league MVP as a senior... Team won league championships in 2008 and 2009... A first team All-American as a senior... Named to 2008 all-CIF first team as a junior and to All-CIF third team in 2007 as a sophomore... Played club for Trojan Water Polo.
