USC's Michael Shashoua Earns Fulbright Grant
Trojan will spend a year in Spain with a focus on microfinance.
THIS SEASON: Shashoua enters his third season of competition at USC.
2010: Shashoua did not compete in 2010.
2009: Shashoua did not compete in 2009.
2008: Shashoua redshirted his first season at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Shashoua was an All-American Second Team selection out of St. Mark's School of Texas... Also named All-Region MVP and to the All-State First Team and All-Region First Team... Finished fifth in state with St. Mark's... Played club with Dallas Water Polo and Houston Water Polo... Won Texas state title with Dallas... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Shashoua is majoring in business and minoring in communications... Parents are Rosemary and Zeke... Has one sister, Kimberly... Enjoys hiking, backpacking and watching TV in his free time... Lists Steve Nash as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to live abroad and would like to travel after graduation... Born March 19, 1990.
