    THIS SEASON: Sardo is back as a talented and quick driver.

    2008: Sardo scored 15 goals as a junior... Struck in 12 games, including two multiple-goal outings... Set new career high with three goals scored in USC's opener against Claremont.

    2007: Sardo scored nine goals as a sophomore... Important goals scored in one-goal wins over Cal and Long Beach State... Earned Academic All-MPSF honors.

    2006: Sardo scored nine goals as a true freshman... Had two multiple-goal games.

    NATIONAL TEAMS: Sardo has been a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, recently competing in the 2007 FINA Junior World Championships and placing second at the Low Tatras Cup in Slovakia over the summer... Competed in the 2005 Junior World Championships and in the 2006 Junior Pan American Games.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Sardo was named the CIF San Diego Section Player of the Year as a senior and junior... Also earned 2004 and 2005 Player of the Year honors from the Coastal League and San Diego Union Tribune... Helped the Bishop's School win four straight 2005 CIF San Diego Section Division II titles, overcoming a broken leg and fractured wrist suffered in a car accident before his junior season... A first team selection in 2003 for the San Diego Section and Coastal League... Named Star of the Month in 2004 and 2005 by San Diego Hall off Champions... Plays club for San Diego Shores, winning Junior Olympic championships as a 14-, 16- and 18-under... Top scorer at 20-under Nationals in 2005.
