2008: Sagehorn was third on the team in scoring with 40 goals... Scored in 22 games with nine multiple-goal outings... Matched his career high twice with four-goal games against Pepperdine and then vs. Navy in the NCAA semifinals... Had the title-winning last-second goal to beat UCLA in the NorCal Tournament final... Named Second Team All-American and to All-MPSF Second Team... Also picked to NCAA All-Tournament First Team... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Oct. 27 after four goals vs. Pepperdine.
2007: Sagehorn led the team in scoring with 38 goals as a sophomore... Struck in 16 games with 13 multiple-goal efforts... Set a career high with four goals against UC Irvine on Nov. 17... Led team in scoring with at least three goals for six consecutive games... Scored in 13 straight games from Oct. 13-Dec. 1... Selected to All-America Second Team... A First Team All-NCAA Tournament selection... Also earned All-MPSF First Team honors... Named to MPSF All-Tournament Team.
2006: Sagehorn posted the team's sixth-best scoring mark with 22 goals as a true freshman... Scored in 14 games with five multiple-goal efforts... Tallied hat tricks against Santa Clara and St. Francis.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Sagehorn has been training with the U.S. National Team and also has been a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, recently competing in the 2007 FINA Junior World Championships and placing second at the Low Tatras Cup in Slovakia... Scored nine goals at the 2005 Junior World Championships... Competed in Europe and the Junior Pan American Games in the summer of 2006... Also has competed internationally with the U.S. Youth and Cadet teams.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sagehorn was named the 2005 CIF Southern Section Division I Player of the Year as a senior on the CIF champion Wilson High team, which has won five straight titles... Selected 2005 Player of the Year by the Long Beach Press-Telegram and the LA Times... An All-CIF First Team selection as a sophomore and junior... Moore League Player of the Year as a senior and first team selection as a sophomore and junior... Named a NISCA All-American 2003-2005... Also named 2006 Swimmer of the Year by the Press-Telegram... Plays club for Long Beach Shore.
PERSONAL: Sagehorn is majoring in public policy and development... Parents are Robert and Marilyn... Has one sister, Lia... Lists his high school swim coach Klaus Barth, an Ironman triathlete who fought brain cancer, as his biggest sports hero... Birthdate is Aug. 20, 1987.
