    2011: Renteria redshirted his first year at USC.

    NATIONAL TEAMS: Renteria has been a member of the U.S. Junior National Team... Also competed with the U.S. Youth National Team.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Renteria is a two-time first team All-American out of El Toro High in Lake Forest, Calif.... Named 2009 CIF Southern Section Division I MVP as a junior and a first team pick as a senior... Back-to-back league MVP in 2009 and 2010... An all-league and all-CIF honoree as a sophomore... Team won 2009 CIF championship... Played club for Split O.C., SoCal and SET.

    PERSONAL: Renteria has not decided on a major... Parents are Debby and Rafael... Has always wanted to try parasailing... Would like to travel to Greece, Australia, Costa Rica and Cancun... Born Jan. 24, 1993.
