    THIS SEASON: Rappel wields a dangerous left hand to help open up USC's scoring attack.

    2008: Rappel was fifth on the team in scoring with 27 goals as a junior... Scored in 20 games with six multiple-goal outings... Matched his career high with three goals against Navy in the NCAA semifinals... Earned All-American Honorable Mention.

    2007: Rappel scored 17 goals as a sophomore... Struck in 12 games with four multiple-goal efforts... Set a career high with a team-high three goals against Cal on Nov. 10.

    2006: Rappel scored 15 goals as a true freshman... Scored in 11 games with four multiple-goal efforts.

    NATIONAL TEAMS: Rappel has been a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, recently competing in the 2007 FINA Junior World Championships and placing second at the Low Tatras Cup in Slovakia over the summer... Competed in the 2005 Junior World Championships and in the 2006 Junior Pan American Games.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Rappel was selected to the All-CIF Second Team as a senior at Harvard-Westlake, scoring 94 goals and adding 45 assists and 71 steals... Team reached the CIF semifinals in 2004 and the CIF final in 2003... Named Mission League MVP in 2005 and was a first team selection in 2004... A three-time CIF All-American... Named to the LA Daily News First Team... Played for Los Angeles Water Polo Club, winning the Junior Olympics crowns as a 14-under and 16-under and National Age Group title as an 18-under.
