    2015 USC Men's Water Polo Season Outlook

    The Trojans take aim at an 11th consecutive trip to the NCAA final as 2015 gets underway.

    THIS SEASON: Carden enters his final season of competition at USC.

    2014: Carden scored 16 goals as a redshirt junior... Scored in 12 games with four multiple-goal outings... A member of the NCAA Tournament roster.

    2013: Carden scored 18 goals as a redshirt sophomore... A member of the NCAA Championship roster... Set career high with four goals scored vs. Pomona-Pitzer... Scored in 12 games with three multiple-goal outings.

    2012: Carden scored eight goals as a redshirt freshman... Scored in four games, with two-goal outings in each game... First career goals were against LaVerne in USC’s season opener.

    2011: Carden redshirted his first year at USC.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Carden was an All-American as a senior at Junipero Serra High in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.... Also was an All-CIF Division I pick and earned second team all-county honors in 2010... Named to all-league first team... Team reached CIF semifinals in 2008 and CIF finals in 2009... Set his high school career high with 12 goals scored in one game... Also swam two years at Serra... Played club for Dan Point Aquatics and OCWPC, currently playing for Trojan WPC, winning gold with the 21-under team at the 2011 Junior Olympics.

    PERSONAL: Carden is majoring in policy, planning & development... Parents are Robin and Minette... Father played water polo at Grossmont and at Long Beach State... Lists Lance Armstrong as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to travel the world... Hopes to one day start his own business... Born Sept. 2, 1992.
