    USC wins its eighth conference tournament championship behind a career-high four goals from Mace Rapsey.

    THIS SEASON: Lavayen enters his first season of competition at USC.

    2012: Lavayen redshirted his first season at USC.

    AT GWC: Lavayen played two seasons of water polo at Golden West College... Won 2011 state championship.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Lavayen scored 52 goals as a senior at Santa Margarita High... Scored 21 goals as a junior... Also was on the swim team.

    PERSONAL: Lavayen is majoring in English... Parents are Cathy and Alfredo... Has two sisters, Stephanie and Caroline, and one brother, Nick... Stephanie also played water polo at USC...
