    UC Irvine: He played three years at UC Irvine, earning Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honorable mention honors in his 2002 junior season...member of the U.S. National Junior Team (2000-02).

    High School: He earned All-America first team honors at Corona del Mar (Calif.) High...named Pacific Coast League most valuable player in his junior season, as well as earning All-CIF first team and all-county honors.
