1999: USC's leading scorer last year, Csaszar could be the top offensive threat in all of college water polo as a 1999 junior driver. A collegiate All-American second teamer last season, he was named an All-American first teamer at the 1999 Summer Nationals club tournament.

Jovan Vavic Says: "George is perhaps the fastest player in the NCAA. I am very impressed with his work ethic, and he has gained 10-15 pounds in the weight room. George has also matured in terms of decision-making and will become an even greater offensive player."

1998: As just a sophomore playing his first year of collegiate water polo, Csaszar blossomed into one of the nation's top scorers in 1998. He led USC and finished second in the MPSF with 60 points (52 goals and eight-two pointers). Csaszar earned All-American second team, All-MPSF first team, All-NCAA Tournament first team, All-MPSF Tournament second team and All-Southern California Tournament second team notice. In what to had have been the greatest debut in school history, he scored seven goals and eight points against Long Beach State in the 1998 season opener (Sept. 15). He scored a total of six points in the two NCAA Championship games. He fared particularly well against Pepperdine, scoring six goals in Malibu (Sept. 26) and five goals in a home match (Oct. 18). After scoring 15 points in the first six games, he was named MPSF Player of the Week on Sept. 20.

Hungary: Csaszar, who hails from Budapest, Hungary, was a member of two Hungarian championship club teams. The team, BVSC, won in 1997 and 1998 and George scored four goals in one of the championship games. He had 21 goals in 1997 and 39 goals in 1998. He was also a member of the Hungarian Junior National Team, which placed second at the European Championships in 1996 and second at the World Championships in 1997. He scored four goals in the championship of the European tournament.
