THIS SEASON: Chong enters his first season at USC.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Chong has been a member of the U.S. Junior National Team... Competed at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Croatia... Also was a member of U.S Cadet team and Pacific Northwest and Hawaii Zone Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Chong won three state championships at Mercer Island (Wash.) High, claiming titles in 2007, 2009 and 2010... A three-time all-state first team selection... Named 2010 Washington State MVP... Played club for Pacific Northwest United Water Polo and San Diego Shores.
PERSONAL: Chong has not decided on a major but hopes to become an investment banker... Parents are Joana and Taek Chong...Has two brothers, Brian and Jason... Brother Brian played water polo at UC Santa Barbara and Claremont McKenna... Lists competing in the 2009 Junior World Championships for Team USA as his most thrilling sports moment...Enjoys traveling, surfing, bodysurfing and inner-tubing in his free time... Has also lived in Hong Kong and Japan... Lists Michael Jordan as his biggest sports hero... Hopes to win a NCAA championship... Would like to travel to Spain, Italy and Brazil... Born Oct. 14, 1992.
