    THIS SEASON: Child returns to the pool for the Trojans as a proven power at set, ready to increase the depth and talent at the two-meter slot.

    2006: Child did not compete in the 2006 season.

    2005: Child scored nine goals as a sophomore... Had a season-high two goals in the NCAA semifinal game against St. Francis.

    2004: Child scored seven goals for the Trojans in his first season at USC... Scored a team-high four goals against Pomona-Pitzer on Oct. 16.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Child earned All-America second team honors in his senior season at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, Calif... Received All-Central Coast Section and all-league first team honors as a senior... Named to second team All-CCS and first team all-league as a junior... Competed on the swim team in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events... Earned honors as a National Merit Commended Scholar... Played club for Stanford Water Polo, placing seventh at the 2004 Junior Olympics and first at the 2003 Hawaiian Invitational.
