THIS SEASON: Carden enters his first season at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Carden was an All-American as a senior at JSerra High in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.... Also was an All-CIF Division I pick and earned second team all-county honors in 2010... Named to all-league first team... Team reached CIF semifinals in 2008 and CIF finals in 2009... Set his high school career high with 12 goals scored in one game... Also swam two years at Junipero Serra... Played club for Dan Point Aquatics and OCWPC, currently playing for Trojan WPC, winning gold with the 21-under team at the 2011 Junior Olympics.
PERSONAL: Carden has not decided on a major... Parents are Robin and Minette... Father played water polo at Grossmont and at Long Beach State... Lists Lance Armstrong as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to travel the world... Hopes to one day start his own business... Born Sept. 2, 1992.
