Krumpholz has solidified his place on an elite list of Trojan Olympians, named Monday to the U.S. Men's Water Polo Olympic team by head coach Terry Schroeder. The youngest player named to Team USA for its 2008 campaign at the Olympic Games in Beijing, Krumpholz becomes the 27th men's water polo Olympian out of USC. The last Trojan to play for the United States in the Olympics was Robert Lynn, a 2000 Olympian who is now serving as an assistant coach with U.S. men.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[As the USA Water Polo national teams move closer and closer to a trip to Beijing, so, too, do a number of USC men's and women's water polo players. Six USC women and one USC man are currently in line for potential spots on the U.S. Olympic Team rosters. On the women's side, USC has five graduates - Patty Cardenas, Erika Figge, Brittany Hayes, Lauren Wenger and Moriah Van Norman - along with junior Kami Craig currently in the 14-player training group for a place at the Games in Beijing. The U.S. men recently trimmed their training roster from 24 to 18, holding onto USC junior J.W. Krumpholz. The respective U.S. head coaches are scheduled to announce their final 13-player Olympic rosters on June 30.]]></description>

The seniors led the Trojans to a third straight appearance in the NCAA final, and are joined by four other USC teammates on the ACWPC All-America lists for 2007. Sophomore Matt Sagehorn joins Shilling on the Second Team for his first career All-America honor; sophomore J.W.
