    Christenson, Cassiday Named Pre-season All-American First Teamers

    USC setter Micah Christenson and libero Henry Cassiday were named 2013 pre-season All-American first teamers by Off The Block, a website that focuses solely on collegiate men's volleyball.

    Trojan middle blocker Robert Feathers made the Off The Block pre-season All-American second team.

    Christenson, a sophomore, was the 2012 National Newcomer of the Year. He and Cassiday, a junior, made All-American second team last season. Feathers, a sophomore, led the nation in blocks in 2012.

    USC, which has played in 3 of the past 4 NCAA Final Fours, begins its 2013 regular season with home matches against British Columbia-Okanagan on Jan. 3 and Alberta on Jan. 4 in the Galen Center.
